We design all kinds of books for publishers big and small. We have designed jackets and covers for over one hundred books, and undertaken interior typesetting and design on even more. We especially like it when we get to to design and typeset the whole book – inside and out. Contact us.

Rachel Bray has been a designer for Soapbox and J. Schwartz & Co. since 2009. She has a Batchelor’s degree in design for communication and a Masters degree in book design both from the University of Reading. Her main professional interest is in exploring the application of type as design element in its own right. Angela Whitney undertakes many of our cover designs. After completing a degree in visual communication in her native New Zealand, she spent four years working as an in-house graphic designer for the Wellington office of an international charity and for a large Australian insurance firm.
